3HR, 2 PERSON BEGINNER GLASSBLOWING CLASS

Shockers Glass Studio offers a three-hour beginner glassblowing class for up to two participants. Working side by side with an instructor, you’ll learn the fundamentals of heating, rotating, gathering, blowing, and shaping glass while creating your own functional pieces.

This class is designed for two people to learn together in a hands-on studio setting. You’ll each get direct instruction and time at the torch while learning the basic process used by pipe makers.

Once completed, your pieces will be placed in the kiln to anneal. After the annealing process is complete, you’ll be able to take your finished creations home.

Open to ages 18 and up. Please wear a cotton shirt, cotton pants, and closed-toe shoes. Protective eyewear will be provided.
